Auditions for those wanting to be in the show, but not wanting major roles, will be in November 2019
Dance/Movement Audition
April 8th, 3:30-4:30 pm in the BEMS auditorium
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. We will teach you a simple, cool movement combination and then you will have a chance to show us your style. If you have any funny dance moves or cool moves or can tumble, you'll have a chance to show us, so come ready to play!
Acting/Singing Audition
We HIGHLY recommend being 100% memorized, using lots of big emotion, and singing with confidence.

Step 3: Select one of the acting lines found at this link to use for your acting audition. Get it memorized and add lots of personality. Speak loudly. Speak clearly. Use a confident, strong tone.
Step 4: Prepare a 1 minute section of any (school appropriate) song to sing for us. It can be shorter than 1 minute, but may not be longer than 1 minute. We will stop you at 1 minute. You may bring accompaniment on a device or bring piano sheet music and we'll play for you. You may also sing with no accompaniment. We are looking for confidence, volume, and good pitch (singing the right notes).
***If you can't make the audition but still want to be considered, you must submit a link of an uploaded youtube video of your audition to vanica.crane@besd.net. BEFORE April 8. Please be sure that your video shows your movement/dance abilities, acting, and singing.

When will students know if they made the Theatre 2B class? Do they just wait for their schedules, or will there be a list posted somewhere?
